The first 25 schools on Passdesk join as founding members and pay 50% less for their first 12 months on the Instructor and Pro plans. The counter at the top of the tiers shows how many slots are left, read from the number of founding schools that have signed up. There’s no code to enter: sign up on an eligible plan while slots remain and the discount is applied to your subscription. It comes off your plan, monthly or annual, and any extra instructors you add to it. On annual billing it’s taken off the yearly invoice as half the monthly price for each of your first 12 months that’s left. Add-on packs and the optional setup service are full price.

Your trial needs no card, so it costs nothing unless you subscribe. Once you have paid, cancel and you stay active to the end of the month you have already paid for; there is no refund of part of a month, and no notice period or exit fee either. Cancelling is a button in your billing page. Your learners, lessons, payments and progress export as CSV whenever you want them, and we keep your workspace for 30 days in case you come back, then permanently delete it within 45 days of cancelling unless you ask us to hold it longer.

No. Send the export from your current diary app and it is set up for you — learners, lesson history, packages and balances, progress and test results — on any plan, including during the trial. The same six importers are on the Import data page if you would rather do it yourself.

Yes. Every school has a referral link in its billing page. When a school you send over pays its first invoice, you get a month’s credit on your next one, worth a month of whichever plan is cheaper, yours or theirs.

Yes. If you are training towards your ADI badge, Passdesk is free until you qualify, for up to 12 months. Sign up the same way, tick the PDI box and add your DVSA reference number (PRN), which is on DVSA's emails and letters about your ADI tests. No card needed. No PRN yet? You start on the 30-day trial and can add it from Billing when it arrives. Once your badge is verified, or the 12 months are up, you get 30 days to choose a plan, and nothing is charged before you do. It's one free period per person, checked against the PRN. Within 30 days you upload proof you're training — a photo or screenshot of a DVSA letter or email showing your name and PRN, or your trainee licence — and we check it. Without it, the free period ends then and you get 30 days to choose a plan.

Yes. Schools get 30 days and solo learners get 14, and neither needs a card. Subscribe whenever you are ready, schools from Billing and solo learners from Subscription in their account. With at least two days left, the rest of your trial carries over and nothing is charged until it ends; in the last two days, the first payment is taken straight away. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

Schools pay per workspace per month, and each plan covers a set number of instructors and learners (Instructor: just you and 60 learners; Pro: you + 3 instructors and 150 learners; Team: you + 10 instructors and 500 learners; Scale: you + 24 instructors and unlimited learners). On Pro and Team you can add instructors one at a time for £10 a month each (£100 a year on annual billing), and each extra seat adds room for 40 more learners. Pro takes up to 4 extra seats and Team up to 9; one more and the next plan up costs the same. Office staff are free on every plan, and learners who have passed never count towards the cap. Above 25 instructors, Scale still covers the first 25 and each extra instructor is added at a per-instructor rate we quote for you. That is Network pricing.

No. Only people who teach take a seat. Office staff, and you as the owner, are free on every plan. If someone in the office starts teaching, they take a seat from then on.

No setup fee is required, and there are no usage minimums. Setting up is free, and so is moving your data from your current app. If you’d rather we did the whole setup with you, that’s an optional extra from £49, and it’s free on annual plans. Past what your plan includes, Pro and Team schools can add instructors at £10 a month each, and office staff are always free. Texts are included up to a monthly fair-use limit at no extra charge. The three pay-as-you-use add-ons are webpage imports (5 free per school, then £5 per 10-pack), recording mile top-ups in the UK (50 free per person — instructor or learner — lifetime, then £5 per 50-mile pack) and AI credit for features such as AI lesson debriefs (£4 free per school to start, then £5 for £4 of credit, about 300 debriefs, which never expires). Lesson payments taken through Passdesk cost 2.5% + 20p per payment, all-in, with Stripe’s card processing included. Email is always included.

Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate your billing. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No tier change resets your data — students, lessons, payments and rubric history stay intact.

Yes — annual billing on Instructor / Pro / Team / Scale gets you 2 months free (toggle the billing frequency on the pricing table). Solo stays monthly so you can stop paying once you pass.

That's Network pricing. A franchise or group can give each school its own plan, or ask us to quote the group as one.
